After completing his secondary school education, he started following his friends to the studio out of boredom and became influenced.


Blacktan Caz started his music career as a singer and was popularly known as "Richyblazz" while in the tertiary institution at Rivers State Polytechnic,

Bori. where he won the singing competition organized by some Top rated Compnay for advertising their goods.

He won the One Mic Campus Tour at the age of 19, which witnessed an electrifying performance at the grand finale from the music talent

He first to rose to prominence with his song My Bolagy featuring Kerrie. The song went viral after a video of his fans line dancing to it surfaced on
